Date: Thursday, 5 July 2018
Venue: THK Children Therapy Centre, 150A Mei Chin Road, Level 2, Singapore 140150
Session 1, 4pm-5pm: We will be discussing about the multidisciplinary needs of children with Developmental Language Disorder
Session 2, 7pm-8.30pm: We will be discussing about strategies, service delivery and current literature on Developmental Language Disorder
Registration starts 30 minutes before each session (3.30pm, 6.30pm).
Light snacks and drinks will be provided.
About the Speaker:
Shaun is a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist from Australia and he holds a Master of Special Education (Early Intervention and School Leadership). He works full time as the Manager (Research and Advocacy) at the Speech and Language Development Australia, where he supports children with speech, language and related disorders through their specialist school (The Glenleighden School) and a school support service. Shaun’s expertise lies in his research on the delivery of education programme and therapeutic services for children with Developmental Language Disorder. Currently, Shaun is enrolled in the Master of Philosophy programme at Griffith University, where he studies the educational needs of students with Developmental Language Disorder.
